Canadian Stuntmen’s Association Monthly Meeting

Everyone reviewed what is happening in their own covid bubble world. Basically, every production has their own Covid Safety Plan. Some productions have actors/performers getting tested 3x week, others are 2, and MOW’s have no covid testing (only temperature checks and questionnaires)
Paul explained that productions have no coverage for covid liability; thus production has to cover the cost if production shuts down due to someone getting covid. It’s imperative to get your performers to complete all their testing otherwise it affects productions from shooting.
Also, good to know that there is no covid insurance when you travel outside the country. Best to get back to home if you get covid.
Other than that, it was mentioned that it would be good for the ones who have not attended these meetings for you to show your face for the next one (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) The group understands that there hasn’t been much action in work, but the point of having these meetings is to communicate and reconnect with the group. Least let us know how you are doing.
